Dona Saltzgiver

Dona has been painting and teaching art all her life.

She  teaches art to Seniors in Elmira and Horseheads, and has been art instructor for Family Services of Chemung County  for 30 years.

Painting is her "joie de vivre" and she loves to share what she does with the world.

Through the many painting shows she has put together over the years,  Dona has become quite well known in the area as an accomplished painter.

Dona works mostly in acrylics.

Selected Exhibitions:  You can see Dona's work in ERAS group shows in and around Elmira and  at the Castle Grisch Restaurant in Watkins Glen.

Awards:  Dona received an Honorable Mention at the ERAS Palette Show in 2010 for her acrylic painting "Royalty in Red", and

the People's Choice Award for the painting "Iris Garden" in the 2011  ERAS  Palette Show, at the Arnot Art Museum in Elmira, NY .
