"I began painting in 1985, focusing primarily on watercolor. I am now also active in the use of pastels and oils for landscapes, still life and portraits. My joy in painting comes from the transference of everyday images into an art form that will elicit an emotional awareness from the viewer. I am constantly experimenting so that the various media remain an ongoing challenge. I have taken numerous workshops at Woodstock, the Hudson River Valley and the Arnot Art Museum, and have also studied in Europe." Awards:2007 ERAS Palette Award Winner
